Responsibilities in the Job
As a Clinical Application Specialist (Ultrasound R&D) at Origin Medical Research Lab, your primary role will be to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of clinical data throughout the product development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical Requirement Gathering: Attend clinical meetings and interact with clinicians to gather and understand their clinical needs for product development.
- Ensuring Clinical Quality: Review data provided by Clinical Data Engineering and AI Research Teams to ensure clinical accuracy and that the final product meets precise clinical requirements.
- Provide Clinical Strategy: Collaborate on the design and development of AI technologies and offer strategic insights to enhance technology and product development.
- Ensuring Clinical Competency of Internal Teams: Research and summarize medical literature to prepare training materials and documentation, ensuring teams are clinically competent throughout various product development stages.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Biological Sciences.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in an ultrasound application specialist role with expertise in ultrasound machine handling and radiology applications.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting ultrasound data, images, and reports.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across different teams.
- Excellent documentation skills and a keen interest in clinical aspects, life sciences, and human anatomy.
