Roles & Responsibilities
Candidates selected for this role will be responsible for managing and overseeing sterile manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Strong knowledge of aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing
- Handling inspection and packaging of PFS and vials
- Monitoring critical process parameters such as compounding, filtration, aseptic filling, stoppering, sealing, and lyophilization
- Supervising manpower deployment and ensuring training compliance
- Executing media fill (APS) and process validation activities
- Reviewing Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) for accuracy and completeness
- Preparing and reviewing SOPs, protocols, and qualification documents
- Managing deviations with proper root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA implementation
- Handling change control related to process, equipment, and documentation
- Participating in risk assessments such as FMEA and QRM
- Ensuring adherence to contamination control strategy (CCS)
- Supporting internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits
- Ensuring compliance with EU GMP Annex 1 and US FDA guidelines
Required Qualifications
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or M.Sc (relevant life sciences discipline)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sterile manufacturing / fill finish operations
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and aseptic techniques
- Experience in handling regulatory audits and documentation
