The institute is currently offering an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals to join its research team as a Junior Research Assistant (JRA) for a UPCST-sponsored project related to Alzheimer’s Disease treatment.
Responsibilities in the Job
The selected candidate will work on a project titled “Synthesis, Safety, and Efficacy of γ-Aminobutyric Acid Linked Curcumin Nanodiamonds Conjugate for the Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease”. The position will involve:
- Performing organic synthesis and purification of nanodiamond conjugates.
- Conducting safety and efficacy evaluations of the synthesized compounds.
- Collaborating with the research team to meet project milestones and objectives.
- Presenting research findings in regular meetings and reports.
- Assisting with project documentation and data management.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree (M.Pharm/M.S.(Pharm.)/M.Sc.) in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- A First Class or equivalent grade at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
- A maximum age of 28 years as of 1st April 2024 (with applicable age relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidates as per GoI norms).
- The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
