The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, is inviting applications for the position of Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant (SRA/RA) for a research project titled “Development of Lectins Coated Super-Paramagnetic Beads for Pre-concentration of the Pathogens and Molecular Beacon Based PCR Array to Facilitate Culture-free Detection of bacterial Pathogens Involved in Sepsis,” sponsored by the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CST-UP).

- Monthly Stipend:
- ₹25,000/- (1st and 2nd year)
- ₹28,000/- (3rd year)
- Project Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or Life Sciences with first-class in both graduate and postgraduate examinations or equivalent CGPA.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with experimental experience in nanoparticle fabrication and advanced microbiological techniques will be preferred.
- Age Limit: Not more than 28 years as of 1st April 2024.
