Job Responsibilities: Trainee Research Associate/Research Associate
The Trainee Research Associate/Research Associate at Agnitio Pharma will play a crucial role in the Chemical Research Division. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting chemical experiments and analyzing data to assist in the development of new products.
- Preparing comprehensive reports on experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
- Ensuring the maintenance of laboratory equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assisting in the process of scaling up experiments from the laboratory to production scale, ensuring consistency and product quality.

Agnitio Pharma is seeking candidates who hold an M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field from a reputed university. Ideal candidates should have 0-3 years of experience in chemical research. Key Skills and Competencies
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate:
- Expertise in both basic and advanced organic chemistry, with strong knowledge of functional group conversions and multi-step synthesis.
- Familiarity with retrosynthetic analysis (desirable), and hands-on experience handling pyrophoric reactions.
- Proficiency in techniques such as TLC, column purification, and extraction.
- Strong skills in analyzing NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry data.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and structure-drawing software like ChemDraw or ISIS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as an ability to effectively search literature using Reaxys.
Candidates must also demonstrate enthusiasm for research and the ability to stretch and adapt to challenges in a dynamic environment.
