Job Responsibilities
As a Trainee Research Associate, your role will be integral to the research and development efforts at Axio Biosolutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in R&D: Contribute to the formulation and development of prototypes in the research and development department.
- Conduct Laboratory Tests: Carry out laboratory bench performance tests, stability studies, and antimicrobial studies in accordance with standard guidelines and test protocols.
- Calibrate Lab Instruments: Regularly calibrate lab instruments following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all experimental work is conducted in compliance with medical device regulatory requirements.
- Literature Review: Perform scientific literature searches to support ongoing R&D projects.
Essential Skills & Background Knowledge
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- A strong understanding of biomaterial science, including its structural chemistry, characterization, physio-chemical properties, and applications.
- Hands-on laboratory experience with pharmaceutical formulations involving biopolymers is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and real-time scientific documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
