Job Responsibilities

As a Pharmacovigilance Associate at TCS, the key responsibilities include:

  • Data Analysis and Processing: Ability to understand and analyze complex pharmacovigilance data, performing activities such as case handling, coding, and data entry into Argus (safety database).
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensuring all activities are compliant with global and local procedural documents and adhere to Patient Safety objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow-up Procedures: Responsible for managing follow-up procedures with healthcare professionals or patients to gather missing or additional information for case reports.
  • Development of Systems and Processes: Contributing to the development, enhancement, and implementation of safety-related systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient case management.
  • Performance-driven Culture: Supporting and driving a culture that emphasizes performance, ensuring timelines and quality standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Life Sciences (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, or M.Pharm) is required.
  • Experience: The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the Argus database and understanding complex pharmacovigilance processes is essential.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for reporting and collaborating with teams.
