Roles and Responsibilities of the Quality Control (QC) Position

As part of the Quality Control team, selected candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistency and reliability of pharmaceutical products. The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting quality analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Performing analytical testing using modern laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, and UV spectrophotometers.
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Preparing and maintaining lab reports and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Monitoring stability studies to ensure product consistency over time.
  • Identifying quality issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address them effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Research & Development (R&D) Position

The R&D team plays a critical role in developing innovative formulations and improving existing products. Key responsibilities for the R&D role include:

  • Conducting research on new molecules, drug formulations, and chemical processes.
  • Designing and executing experiments to develop new drug products and enhance product stability.
  • Collaborating with the QC team to ensure new formulations meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Preparing technical documents, protocols, and reports for product registration and patent filings.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and advancements to apply new technologies in product development.
  • Conducting scale-up studies from lab to production to ensure seamless manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to formulation, process optimization, and analytical methods.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • B. Pharm or M. Pharm degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or related fields is also eligible.
  • Freshers or candidates with prior experience in QC roles are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, and IR will be an advantage.
