Eligibility Criteria
- Education: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
- Experience: 0 to 1 year
- Location Preference: Candidates from Mumbai or Navi Mumbai
- CTC: Up to ₹2.5 LPA
Roles and Responsibilities
- Laboratory Setup & Reaction Monitoring:
- Set up lab requirements such as reaction assembly, distillation, filtration, reaction work-up, and crystallization.
- Monitor reactions using analytical tools under senior supervision for process development.
- Analytical Instrument Handling:
- Operate instruments like GC, HPLC, and others as required.
- Research & Documentation:
- Conduct literature searches using Scifinder, Reaxys, chemical abstracts, online journals, and external libraries.
- Maintain detailed experimental data in log sheets or electronic lab notebooks with critical observations.
- Unit Operations:
- Perform crystallization, high vacuum distillation, and extractions as needed for process optimization.
- Laboratory Maintenance & Innovation:
- Ensure proper housekeeping of the laboratory.
- Contribute innovative ideas to develop cost-effective, safe, and eco-friendly processes.
- Additional Skills:
- Deep understanding of reaction mechanisms and kinetics is advantageous.
- Participate in factory visits for troubleshooting and scale-up processes when required.
