Roles and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing in-process checks as per SOPs and BMR/BPR following ALCOA principles
  • Handling products as per defined batch manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and safety standards on the shop floor
  • Providing on-the-job training to temporary staff in the liquid manufacturing area
  • Supporting validation activities when required
  • Maintaining accurate and right-first-time documentation
  • Monitoring batch yield and optimizing machine and manpower efficiency
  • Maintaining machine logs, guarding logs, and online documentation entries
  • Reporting unsafe conditions and behaviors proactively
  • Ensuring hygiene, housekeeping, and maintenance as per SOPs
  • Managing shift operations and achieving production targets
  • Supporting preventive maintenance to improve machine uptime
  • Calculating OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and identifying improvements
  • Handling change parts and assisting in equipment-related activities
  • Training and qualifying employees under supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Science, or relevant field
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred (freshers may also apply depending on company criteria)
  • Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and documentation practices
  • Basic understanding of production equipment and processes
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
