We are hiring a Research Assistant to support our Research & Development team in Navi Mumbai. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Experiments:
  • Perform technical tasks, including setting up experimental setups and reactors.
  • Execute sample preparation and synthesis at lab scale.
• Testing & Characterization:
  • Use analytical instruments such as:
    • XRD, GC, HPLC, IR/UV-Visible Spectrometer
    • Thermal Analyzer, Microscopy, Chemisorption/Physisorption Units, TPD
  • Conduct structural, textural, and mechanical testing of samples.
• Laboratory Maintenance:
  • Ensure the upkeep of reactors and analytical instruments.
  • Maintain logs for equipment usage and record experimental data accurately.
  • Manage the inventory of consumables and initiate the replenishment process.

Educational Requirements

• Preferred Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biology.

Experience Requirements

• Freshers to 3 years of experience in:
  • Industrial Chemical Laboratories
  • QA/QC Laboratories

Skills and Competencies

• HSE Practices:
  • Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures while conducting experiments.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, statutory norms, and IP policies.
• Chemical Handling:
  • Handle chemicals and tools safely following safety protocols.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Lab Safety and Housekeeping:
  • Maintain safe working conditions in the laboratory and pilot plant.
  • Ensure good housekeeping practices to keep the work area organized.
