Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Science Liaison โ€“ Vaccines, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain advanced knowledge of diseases, vaccines, therapies, products, clinical studies, and scientific literature.
  • Engage healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders in peer-to-peer scientific discussions.
  • Provide field-based medical and scientific information to physicians and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver balanced, fair, and non-promotional scientific presentations.
  • Stay updated on ongoing and completed clinical studies and competitive product information.
  • Plan and execute medical education activities aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs.
  • Attend medical congresses, conventions, symposia, poster sessions, and scientific presentations.
  • Support pre-event planning and post-event scientific summaries.
  • Participate in the development, organization, and delivery of CME programs.
  • Provide scientific education and therapy-area training support to internal teams and sales teams.
  • Identify and share field insights to support effective Medical Affairs planning.
  • Conduct KOL mapping and profiling based on stakeholder segmentation criteria.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain awareness of marketing objectives and commercial priorities while ensuring appropriate Medical Affairs practices.

Qualifications Required

Takeda is seeking candidates with the following educational background:

Minimum Qualification

Candidates should have one of the following:

  • Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences (Ph.D.)
  • Pharmacy Degree
  • MBBS
  • MD
  • Other relevant medical or life sciences qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • MBBS/MD recognized by the Medical Council of India
  • Medical Postgraduate Degree (MD)
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
