Cipla is Hiring for OSD Formulation and API Production Operators

Cipla is conducting a walk-in interview for experienced candidates for production operator roles at its Patalganga, Maharashtra job location. The hiring drive is for candidates with relevant experience in OSD formulation manufacturing and API production operations. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who have hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP, safety practices, equipment operation, cleaning, documentation and process monitoring.

1. OSD Formulation Operator

Job Overview

The OSD Formulation Operator role is for candidates experienced in oral solid dosage manufacturing operations. The selected candidates will be responsible for operating and monitoring OSD manufacturing activities as per standard operating procedures while ensuring product quality, process control and compliance with GMP and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor OSD manufacturing activities as per SOPs.
• Maintain process parameters to ensure product quality.
• Perform equipment cleaning and changeover activities.
• Maintain batch process data and batch documentation.
• Follow GMP, safety and other applicable manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in OSD formulation operations.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Understanding of OSD manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of SOP-driven production activities.
• Experience in equipment cleaning, changeover and documentation.
• Awareness of GMP and safety requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

2. API Production Operator

Job Overview

The API Production Operator role is intended for candidates with experience in API manufacturing unit operations and unit processes. Candidates should be familiar with cGMP and safety requirements, equipment area maintenance and the operation of production equipment used in API manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Work with unit operations and unit processes of API manufacturing.
• Clean and maintain equipment areas as per cGMP and safety requirements.
• Operate equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, filters, dryers and related API production equipment.
• Carry out other responsibilities as per role requirements.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Chemistry or Diploma Chemical.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in API production operations.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Exposure to API manufacturing operations and unit processes.
• Knowledge of cGMP and safety practices.
• Hands-on familiarity with reactors, centrifuges, filters and dryers.
• Ability to maintain equipment areas and follow role-based production requirements.
