Job Summary:
The Payment Support Specialist is responsible for administrative and support activities within the Integrated Management Services (IMS) team to ensure services and client expectations are met according to contracts. You will be involved in reviewing Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), ensuring accurate payments, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining clear communication across project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and amendments to ensure payments align with agreed costs.
- Escalate discrepancies to the line manager or relevant team member.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action items for both internal and external meetings (sponsor, investigator meetings, etc.).
- Follow up with team members on action items until completed.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, project management, accounts payable/receivable, and site contracts teams.
- Maintain effective communication among team members and site staff.
- Keep leadership and Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) updated on site and study statuses.
- Support quality assurance activities, including preparing for audits and resolving issues.
- Work with sponsor systems and applications as required by the project.
- Archive study documents based on relevant guidelines and policies.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) / ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and work independently.
- High proficiency in MS Office Applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Competence in the English language is essential.
