Detailed Job Description: Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Site Feasibility & Selection: Identify investigators, negotiate budgets, finalize contracts (CDA & study agreements).
✅ Regulatory Compliance: Prepare & submit documents for Ethics Committee (EC) approval.
✅ Clinical Trial Oversight: Monitor IP (Investigational Product) dispensing, inventory, and reconciliation.
✅ Site Management: Ensure smooth site initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities.
✅ Training: Educate investigators & site staff on protocols, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), and trial procedures.
✅ Patient Recruitment & Data Management: Ensure timely enrollment, data accuracy, and query resolution.
✅ Safety Reporting: Manage SAEs (Serious Adverse Events) & SUSARs per regulatory and Sun Pharma’s PV policies.
✅ Risk Management: Identify risks, analyze gaps, and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
✅ Cross-functional Coordination: Work with CROs, data management teams, and biostatisticians for study reports.
Eligibility Criteria
✔ Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health) OR PG Diploma in Clinical Research.
✔ Experience: 1-5 years in clinical research, site monitoring, or trial management.
✔ Skills Required:
- Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in clinical trial software & MS Office
