Job Description
The selected candidate will support quantitative Primary Market Research projects across diverse therapy areas. The role involves working on studies such as ATU, demand estimation, market assessments, patient flow, patient journey or buying process, segmentation, and other strategic research initiatives.
The position requires strong analytical ability, questionnaire and discussion guide development experience, and the capability to convert research findings into clear client deliverables. Candidates should be comfortable working with healthcare industry data and communicating findings through reports, presentations, emails, and calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end delivery of quantitative Primary Market Research projects across diverse therapy areas.
- Work on studies such as ATU, demand estimation, market assessments, patient flow, patient journey or buying process, segmentation, and other strategic research initiatives.
- Design and refine questionnaires and discussion guides with guidance from senior team members to address research objectives effectively.
- Conduct data analysis, including reviewing tabulations, coding open-ended responses, developing table specifications, and validating outputs.
- Ensure research findings are accurate, insightful, and methodologically sound.
- Develop PowerPoint report templates and client deliverables by converting research findings into clear and compelling narratives.
- Provide regular progress updates to project leads and managers.
- Contribute to internal discussions on research findings, implications, and recommendations.
- Perform quality control and final review of project outputs to ensure deliverables are accurate, error-free, and client-ready.
- Manage stakeholder communication and support the project lead in client communication through emails, presentations, and conference calls.
- Work as an individual contributor with strong ownership, accountability, productivity, and adherence to project timelines.
- Contribute to personal capability development through continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Demonstrate flexibility and curiosity to work across pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare services.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences; MBA preferred.
- Relevant experience of 3-4 years.
- Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with experience in consulting and market research within the pharmaceutical domain.
- Experience or academic background in sectors covering the healthcare industry, including Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Healthcare services.
- Experience with quantitative PMR research across a variety of therapy areas.
- Strong interpretation and analysis skills, including quantitative, qualitative, and integration of different sources of data assets.
- Ability to understand the link between client needs, data, and its application.
- Experience in designing or developing questionnaires and discussion guides as per client objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Comfortable working with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
