Job Description: Analytical Researcher – I&II
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Method Development & Validation:
- Develop and validate HPLC/GC test methods for APIs, raw materials (RM), key starting materials (KSM), and solvents (SM).
- Perform troubleshooting and OOS investigations during validations.
- Expertise in HPLC method development using detectors like Mass, IR, CAD, ELSD, UV-PDA, and UV.
✔ Impurity Analysis & Characterization:
- Identify and characterize impurities and intermediates using spectroscopy techniques (NMR, Mass Spectrometry, FTIR, DSC, TGA).
- Conduct impurity isolation using PREP-LC and prepare impurity libraries.
✔ Instrumentation & Analysis:
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, Coulometer, FT-IR, UV, Karl Fischer Titrator, Halogen Moisture Analyzer, and Polarimeter.
- Perform stability studies, hygroscopicity tests, and holding time studies.
✔ Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical guidelines (ICH, USP, EP).
- Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation reports, and analytical method transfer documents.
✔ Technology Transfer & Process Support:
- Assist in process development and analytical method transfers.
- Conduct vendor method evaluations and equipment cleaning method development.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
✅ MSc in Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry with 3-8 years of relevant experience.
✅ Strong expertise in HPLC/GC method development and validation.
✅ Proficient in structure elucidation, spectroscopy (NMR, Mass, IR), and impurity profiling.
✅ Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines (ICH, GMP, USP).
✅ Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
