Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing promotional and non-promotional pharmaceutical materials.
- Conducting scientific fact-checking and medical content review.
- Ensuring clinical, scientific, and statistical accuracy of claims.
- Verifying references and literature citations.
- Reviewing medical content for compliance with approved product labeling.
- Supporting Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
- Collaborating with medical affairs, medical information, and scientific communications teams.
- Performing literature searches using PubMed, Embase, Ovid, and RightFind.
- Developing and reviewing scientific response documents (SRDs), FAQs, slide decks, abstracts, posters, and training materials.
- Supporting content management activities in Veeva Vault PromoMats and MedComms.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards.
- Participating in client discussions and strategic medical communications initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
- PharmD
- M.Pharm
- M.S. Pharm
- MBBS
- BDS
- MDS
- PhD (Life Sciences or relevant discipline)
Required Experience
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in scientific writing, medical writing, medical affairs, or scientific review.
- Experience reviewing promotional and non-promotional pharmaceutical content.
- Knowledge of clinical research, drug development, and medical terminology.
- Experience with literature databases such as PubMed, Ovid, Embase, and RightFind.
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault PromoMats or MedComms platforms.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
