Job Responsibilities
As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at Star Hi Herbs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and accuracy of clinical trials. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Site Management: Conduct site selection, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trial sites.
- Protocol Adherence: Ensure that all research sites follow study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Data Monitoring: Perform source data verification and quality checks, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Study Progress: Monitor subject enrollment, ensure adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria, and track overall study progress.
- Documentation: Collect, review, and maintain essential study documents, including regulatory submissions and informed consent forms.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact for investigators, site staff, and study sponsors, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Adverse Event Reporting: Identify and report adverse events and protocol deviations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Audit Assistance: Assist in preparing for and conducting site audits by regulatory authorities and sponsors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as project managers, data managers, and medical monitors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of study tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
- Participation in Meetings: Engage in study team meetings and contribute to planning, protocol development, and other study-related activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: A graduate degree in clinical or life sciences-related fields. Candidates with relevant experience in allied professions may also be considered.
- Experience: Approximately 2-3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or equivalent roles within the clinical research industry.
- Skills: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. Proficiency in using computers and relevant software is essential.
- Preferred Background: Experience working in the research or pharmaceutical industry will be highly advantageous.
