The role focuses on supporting the Worldwide Patient Safety group by ensuring the safety of medicines through comprehensive pharmacovigilance processes such as signal detection, data review, safety reporting, and risk management.
Position Responsibilities
- Signal Detection and Safety Data Review:
- Generate data and perform literature searches.
- Support logistics for Safety Data Review Meetings (SDRMs).
- Document and file reports and perform quality checks.
- Safety Management Team (SMT):
- Manage SMT memberships, mail groups, and SharePoint.
- Schedule meetings and handle project assets.
- Scheduled Aggregate Reports:
- Obtain and update exposure data.
- Support literature searches and compliance documentation.
- Data Management:
- Format reports, handle queries, and track data discrepancies.
- Other Activities:
- Manage PV mailbox and update signal detection lists.
Qualifications
- Education: BS/RN/MS/PharmD in life sciences or related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of professional experience in health science or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with global drug development and pharmacovigilance processes.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in operational software.
- Analytical skills for data gathering and reporting.
