Roles & Responsibilities
Candidates selected for these roles will be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems such as:
- ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant)
- STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)
- MEE (Multiple Effect Evaporator)
- Stripper and ATFD systems
- Troubleshooting process issues related to:
- Chemical dosing
- Aeration
- Filtration
- Sludge handling
- Tracking and maintaining key parameters including:
- COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand)
- BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand)
- TSS (Total Suspended Solids)
- pH levels
- Performing water and wastewater analysis using standard laboratory techniques
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations such as:
- CPCB
- EPA
- ISO 14001
- Preparing compliance reports and supporting SOP implementation and documentation
Required Qualifications
Education
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry / Environmental Science
- Diploma or B.E in Chemical / Environmental Engineering
Experience
- 0 to 3 years in:
- ETP, MEE, and water treatment plant operations
- Handling EHS-related legal and compliance activities
