Role Overview: Scientific Writer 2
This position is ideal for individuals who possess strong scientific knowledge combined with a flair for writing. As a Scientific Writer 2, you will develop publication-ready scientific documents, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slide kits. Your work will contribute to making scientific research accessible and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, publication-ready scientific documents tailored to client needs.
- Act as a document specialist providing intellectual input across various document types.
- Collaborate with international pharmaceutical clients and liaise with authors, key opinion leaders, and stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of current developments across therapeutic areas to enhance content quality.
- Proactively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Participate in workshops and training sessions to improve skills and contribute to organizational goals.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Educational Background: PhD/MD (Pharmacology, Life Sciences) or MBBS/MD (Internal Medicine) or MPharm/MSc with a solid understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
- Experience: Prior publication experience, preferably as the first author in medical journals.
- Skills:
- Clear, concise scientific writing with attention to detail.
- Strong command of English.
- Basic biostatistical knowledge.
- Proficiency in literature review and evaluation.
- Ability to multitask and manage tight timelines.
