Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits on medical coding for Surgery, Evaluation & Management (E&M), Infusion, Lab, and Radiology services.
• Ensure compliance with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Review and validate coding accuracy to minimize claim denials and optimize revenue.
• Provide feedback and training to coding teams for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with CMS, AMA, and payer-specific coding updates.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to resolve coding discrepancies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in medical coding and auditing.
• Active coding certification (CPC, COC, CCS-P, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of surgical, E&M, infusion, and diagnostic coding.
• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Educational Requirements:

• Medical Graduates: MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BDS
• Paramedical Graduates: BPT, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Lab/Radiology
• Life Sciences Graduates: B.Sc (Biotech, Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.)
