Positions Available: Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL) – Executive

Torrent Pharma is seeking experienced Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL) Executives to contribute to their cutting-edge research and development efforts. This role involves a variety of crucial tasks related to analytical method development and validation for a diverse range of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in analytical chemistry and a proven track record in pharmaceutical analysis. Here’s a breakdown of the key responsibilities and skills:

• Method Development & Validation: Expertise in HPLC/GC/IC method development, feasibility, verification, equivalency, and validation. This includes working with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), complex Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) products, oncology products, and topical products.
• Product Expertise: Experience with products for regulated, semi-regulated, and Indian markets.
• Comparative Analysis: Ability to conduct comparative evaluations of methods, including those from alternative vendors, and analyze their regulatory impact.
• Dissolution Studies: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with dissolution method development, comparative dissolution, multimedia dissolution, and statistical evaluation, and report preparation.
• Instrument Proficiency: Good understanding and hands-on experience with analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, LCMS, and GCMS.
• Solid State Characterization: Experience in solid-state characterization and API sameness studies.
• In-vitro Studies: Experience in in-vitro studies, including IVFT/IVRT.
• Impurity Characterization: Ability to characterize impurities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Well-versed with pharmacopeial standards like USP, EP, BP, and IP, and various current regulatory guidelines such as ICH, EMEA, and FDA.
• Instrument Maintenance: Ability to perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.

Qualification and Experience:

• Qualification: M.Pharm or M.Sc in a relevant field.
• Experience: 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in analytical development.
