About the Resource Analyst Role

As a Resource Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will help forecast, track and identify resource allocation requirements, assignments and availability across assigned projects.

The role involves evaluating labor requirements for clinical resources across geographical areas and helping project teams maintain appropriate staffing levels.

The Resource Analyst also contributes to project performance and profitability from operational, quality and financial perspectives across therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Tracking resource requirements, availability and project assignments.
  • Coordinating the intake, follow-up and resolution of resource requests.
  • Maintaining project and resource information within relevant systems.
  • Evaluating resource requests and identifying suitable staff based on availability, experience, therapeutic requirements and geography.
  • Leading weekly resource planning and resourcing meetings.
  • Preparing and distributing resource reports.
  • Maintaining accurate roll-off dates and project assignments.
  • Coordinating and distributing employee CVs when required.
  • Working with CV administration teams to ensure CV information remains accurate and current.
  • Collaborating with internal departments on staffing requirements for future projects, RFPs and bid-defense meetings.
  • Using resource dashboards and other tools to reconcile and quality-check departmental reports.
  • Supporting monthly resource projections and utilization reporting for senior management.
  • Identifying available resources based on project requirements, experience and availability.
  • Supporting long-range workforce metrics, forecasting and process improvements.
  • Mentoring and assisting with the training of new staff when required.

Qualification and Experience
