About the Role
As a Product Ops Analyst-I at Syneos Health, the selected candidate will assist with documenting functional requirements and translating business requirements into system solutions.
The role includes working with cross-functional stakeholders, supporting enterprise system configuration and maintenance, assisting with system integrations, performing data migration validation, creating reports and dashboards, supporting UAT and deployments, and maintaining documentation.
The position also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement and troubleshooting routine system issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting functional requirements and supporting their translation into system solutions.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs.
- Support configuration and maintenance of enterprise systems and modules.
- Assist with system integrations across clinical, finance, procurement, and other applications.
- Support data migration activities, including validation and quality checks.
- Generate basic reports and dashboards to support operational insights.
- Assist in developing test scripts.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployments.
- Troubleshoot routine system issues and escalate complex problems when required.
- Maintain documentation, including user guides and SOP-aligned materials.
- Support the identification of process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, product operations, or a related field.
- Domain knowledge of Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare would be a plus.
- Exposure to AI tools is preferred.
- Foundational understanding of the drug development lifecycle or regulated environments is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying concepts; PL/SQL exposure is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems or cloud environments such as Azure, Windows Servers, and IIS is preferred.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts is preferred.
- Exposure to reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
