Job Description
As an IMS Budget Specialist I, the candidate will support clinical trial budget activities by analyzing payment terms and conditions of fully executed site clinical trial agreements. The role involves working with clinical trial management system templates, maintaining budget setup accuracy, and coordinating with project teams for quality control of cost structures.
The position also requires interaction with internal teams and participation in payment planning activities for incoming studies. Candidates should be comfortable working with enterprise financial systems and handling multiple projects in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret the payment terms and conditions of fully executed site clinical trial agreement (CTA).
- Ensure accuracy of contract budget and clinical trial management system (CTMS) template alignment.
- Input site budget cost utilizing the templates within CTMS.
- Engage project team with the quality control of the cost structure created within CTMS.
- Serve as subject matter expert for department and project teams concerning contract interpretation and development of payment strategy.
- Ensure the presence of required vendor financial account details participating in clinical trial.
- Ensure acquisition and completeness of tax related documentation.
- Participate in payment setup issue resolution.
- Liaise with internal departments including the Operations, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Perform administrative functions, update and maintain setup details and progress status of contractual site budgets in the database, and handle other related duties as assigned.
- Work with enterprise financial systems.
- Multi-task on several projects while demonstrating strong communication skills and team collaboration.
- Proactively participate in Investigator Payment Planning (IPP) Meetings, providing input to payment strategy planning for incoming studies.
