The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Situated in the NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad, THSTI is a leading center for innovative translational research aimed at improving human health.
THSTI operates several specialized centers such as the Centre for Maternal and Child Health, Centre for Viral Therapeutics and Vaccines, and Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA). Job Overview: Research Officer (Clinical)
This role is part of the project titled “Sepsis-related mortality in neonates in India,” an initiative by CDSA-THSTI to enhance clinical research and develop solutions for neonatal sepsis.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise research activities at designated study sites.
- Manage research staff, supplies, and data flow for clinical research forms (CRFs).
- Train nursing and research staff on monitoring sepsis and data collection per SOPs.
- Ensure high-quality sample collection and data entry.
- Verify and analyze research findings and coordinate with site investigators.
- Monitor study implementation and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate data management activities with the respective team.
Qualifications
- Essential:
- First-Class Master’s degree in Life Sciences with at least 1 year of relevant clinical research experience.
- OR MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, B.Pharm.
- OR Ph.D., MD, MDS.
- Age Limit: Maximum of 30 years.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers, investigators, and managers.
- Knowledge of clinical research processes and protocol adherence.
Salary
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of ₹52,290 per month.
