Job Description

Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization offering end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions across the drug life cycle. The Trainee role involves supporting production and packing machine operations while following approved SOPs, GMP, documentation, safety, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production and packing machines as per approved SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, adjustment, and shutdown activities as per established procedures.
• Verify machine cleanliness and readiness before starting operations.
• Maintain machine settings and process parameters within approved limits.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Carry out routine in-process checks and record observations in approved formats.
• Complete entries in equipment logbooks, BMRs, BPRs, and other production records accurately.
• Ensure proper identification and segregation of materials during machine operation.
• Minimize machine downtime through proper handling and timely reporting of equipment issues.
• Assist Engineering and Maintenance personnel during machine breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and surrounding areas during and after production activities.
• Ensure removal and disposal of waste generated during machine operation as per approved procedures.
• Follow GMP, Good Documentation Practices, and Data Integrity requirements while performing operations.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment during machine operation.
• Utilize machine capacity efficiently to achieve production targets and minimize wastage.
• Ensure safe handling of raw materials, packing materials, and finished products during machine operation.
• Report equipment malfunctions, deviations, incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and process knowledge.
• Comply with all Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements applicable to the work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machine efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.
