Job Responsibilities
- Research Coverage: Monitor US and European startup companies across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medtech and healthcare services.
- Industry Analysis: Track market developments, earnings releases, investor presentations, clinical trials, medical conferences and product launches.
- Clinical Research Analysis: Collect and organize clinical trial information, analyze trial results and evaluate mechanisms of action (MOA) of drug candidates.
- Report Creation: Investigate clinical paradigms for disease treatment in China and prepare research reports.
- Content Development: Create and moderate expert-led teleconferences featuring industry professionals and healthcare experts.
- Transcript Editing: Prepare, summarize, edit and validate detailed teleconference transcripts.
- Research Collaboration: Work with the Director of Research and cross-functional teams to expand Guidepoint’s research content library.
- Compliance: Ensure expert profiles and teleconference content comply with company policies and protocols.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Candidates interested in the Guidepoint Analyst – Healthcare position should meet the following requirements:
- Master’s or advanced degree in Medicine, Biological Sciences or equivalent medical professional qualifications.
- PhD candidates are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or investment research covering the Biotech/Pharma sector.
- Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies in competitive assessment, drug development or business development.
