About the PV Process Excellence Specialist Role
The selected professionals will support global pharmacovigilance process governance and continuous improvement. The role works closely with the Director of PV Process Excellence, EU QPPV, Deputy QPPVs, Global Patient Safety leadership and other cross-functional stakeholders.
The position is particularly focused on PV regulatory intelligence, process governance, inspection readiness, procedural documentation and organisational training.
This makes the role relevant for experienced pharmacovigilance professionals looking to move beyond case-processing operations into PV quality, governance and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As a PV Process Excellence Specialist, responsibilities may include:
- Coordinate logistics for global pharmacovigilance governance boards.
- Prepare agendas, schedule meetings, document minutes and track action items.
- Monitor emerging pharmacovigilance regulations, guidelines and industry best practices.
- Support regulatory intelligence surveillance and assessment activities.
- Contribute to the maturity and inspection readiness of PV processes, standards and procedures.
- Oversee completeness of PV impact assessments.
- Support training completeness and timely completion across the pharmacovigilance system.
- Maintain inspection readiness of pharmacovigilance training records.
- Support ownership of selected procedural documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of global PV processes and ways of working.
- Work with global stakeholders across GPS, R&D, affiliates, health authorities and contractual partners.
