About the Clinical Ops Internship

The Morepen Laboratories Clinical Ops Internship provides exposure to laboratory and clinical operations with a focus on standardization, compliance, validation and quality.

Interns will assist with developing SOPs and workflows, preparing clinical and laboratory guidelines, coordinating with stakeholders, establishing tracking mechanisms and supporting validation studies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory workflows.
  • Assisting in developing reference guidelines and operational playbooks.
  • Coordinating with multiple internal and clinical stakeholders.
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of compliance frameworks.
  • Establishing key operational tracking mechanisms.
  • Assisting with clinical guidelines in coordination with clinicians.
  • Preparing and presenting statistics, facts and operational information to management.
  • Taking ownership of assigned DOS setup activities.
  • Conducting validation studies for SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs).
  • Supporting laboratory quality optimization according to directives from the Lab Director.
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation and contributing to standardized clinical operations processes.

Qualification

Candidates with B.Sc/M.Sc in Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or Life Sciences can apply.
