Responsibilities as a Data Coordinator
As a Data Coordinator at Medpace, you will play a key role in supporting our Data Management team. Here’s an overview of your primary responsibilities:
- Data Tracking and Metrics Maintenance: You’ll be responsible for tracking and maintaining data metrics within Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, ensuring up-to-date and accurate data records.
- Database Cleaning: This includes generating and resolving data clarifications to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Clinical Data Reconciliation: Ensure data consistency across various databases and sources.
- Departmental Support Activities: Support various Data Management functions, including liaising with different teams to streamline data management processes.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
Medpace seeks motivated individuals with a background in life sciences, pharmacy, or health-related fields. Key qualifications for the Data Coordinator role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field: Strong attention to detail and proficiency with Excel and Word are essential.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Clinical Research: Prior exposure to clinical research and medical terminology is preferred.
- Familiarity with Clinical Databases: Experience with Medidata RAVE or similar EDC systems is a plus.
