Responsibilities in the Job
As a Medical Scientific Liaison (Job ID REQ-10020311), you will play a pivotal role in advancing Novartis’ mission by leading scientific engagements with Medical Experts (MEs). Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with MEs to share medical and scientific information.
- Mapping and identifying MEs/Key Accounts, ensuring strategic engagement aligned with country strategy.
- Developing and executing ME engagement plans to address specific medical needs.
- Responding to unsolicited medical information requests from MEs.
- Supporting Novartis clinical research programs, optimizing trial execution, and providing educational support to study sites.
- Facilitating the Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process upon investigator request.
- Serving as a medical resource for internal teams and field matrix colleagues.
- Reporting technical complaints, adverse events, or special cases related to Novartis products within 24 hours.
- Distributing marketing samples where applicable.
- Adhering to Ethics and Compliance policies and achieving annual medical activity targets.
