Job Overview
As the QA Head/QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all operations. You will be responsible for leading the QA team, managing quality systems, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Recruit, retain, and mentor QA personnel to build a high-performing team.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure effective QA operations.
- Quality Management Systems (QMS):
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of QMS, including handling deviations, OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), and change requests.
- Conduct GAP analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections.
- Ensure compliance with global quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data Integrity and Remediation:
- Investigate data integrity issues and implement robust remediation plans.
- Enhance investigation processes and improve the knowledge level of the investigation team.
- Training and Development:
- Impart training to manufacturing personnel on global quality practices.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality challenges and drive organizational growth.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a senior QA role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of QMS, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
