Responsibilities in the Role of Process Scientist – API

As a Process Scientist specializing in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) development, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational excellence.

• Research & Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, review journals and patents, and optimize chemical processes.
• Technology Transfer: Manage the transition of lab-validated processes to manufacturing plants while ensuring reproducibility.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine reaction parameters, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Interpret analytical data, prepare technical reports, and contribute to Drug Master Filing (DMF) documentation.
• Lab & Process Safety: Uphold safety standards in lab and production processes.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to execute scale-up batches and troubleshoot complex projects.

Qualifications

• Education: M.Sc or M.Pharma in a relevant field.
• Experience: 3-8 years of experience in API Process R&D.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in Process Scale-Up of APIs.
  • Skilled in Process Optimization, Process Intensification, and Chemical Process Engineering.
  • Experience in Technology Transfer and Operational Excellence.
