Key Responsibilities
As an ICON Laboratory Support Coordinator, responsibilities include:
- Support laboratory management with day-to-day laboratory operations and administrative activities.
- Assist the Laboratory Operations Director with laboratory quality monitoring.
- Maintain employee training, competency, continuing education and applicable license records.
- Maintain laboratory records, proficiency testing schedules, instrument forms, charts and related documentation.
- Triage issues received through the Issue Manager system.
- Perform first-pass data entry of laboratory results after appropriate training.
- File, archive and retrieve laboratory data and quality documentation.
- Maintain laboratory quality books, binders and records.
- Support laboratory projects assigned by management.
- Receive results for reference specimens and perform initial data entry.
- Maintain send-out logs and laboratory reports.
- Coordinate activities related to referral test reporting.
- Assist with inventory logs and inventory counts.
- Schedule meetings, record meeting minutes and track important dates.
- Generate and monitor operational reports.
- Participate in Continuous Professional Education programmes, conferences, journal clubs and lectures.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives across laboratory operations.
Qualification & Experience
