Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Programmer at GSK, you will:
- Develop, test and document programming code for analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures (TLFs) under supervision.
- Convert programming specifications and statistical analysis plans into reproducible solutions.
- Conduct quality checks, identify programming issues and implement appropriate fixes.
- Collaborate with statisticians, data managers and study teams to clarify programming requirements.
- Follow applicable data standards, internal procedures and regulatory guidance.
- Maintain quality and compliance of programming deliverables.

Qualification & Eligibility
Candidates should have:
- M.Sc. in Programming OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biotechnology or a related field.
- Hands-on experience or academic coursework in SAS, R or Python.
- Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases and data structures.
- Ability to understand technical documentation and accurately implement specifications.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong learning ability, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
The following qualifications and skills can provide an advantage:
- Experience or academic exposure to clinical data or a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards.
