- Extract and review patient records for completeness.
- Assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/ICD-10-CM, APC, DRG, and ASA codes.
- Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Verify coding accuracy with physician diagnoses.
- Stay updated on medical coding regulations.
- Handle coding-related data and billing inquiries.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Graduates in Nursing/Pharmacy.
- Strong communication and typing skills.
- Interest in medical coding (training provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
