Clarivate is hiring an Associate Content Analyst – AI Data Annotation for its AI team in Chennai. This role offers a unique opportunity for STEM graduates and freshers to work at the intersection of scholarly research, artificial intelligence, and data annotation.
As an Associate Content Analyst, you will support Clarivate’s AI-driven solutions that enhance research content extraction, classification, and curation for the Academia & Government sector.
This position follows a hybrid work model and is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and interest in academic publishing, metadata, and AI systems.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
- Annotate, review, and validate scholarly content (text, figures, tables, images) for AI training
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs and provide structured quality feedback
- Support AI-based content extraction and classification workflows
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of training datasets used in proprietary AI products
- Follow defined annotation guidelines and quality standards
🎓 Qualifications & Eligibility
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM disciplines (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Freshers or 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze scholarly literature
- Familiarity with academic journals, research articles, and publishing formats
Preferred (Good to Have):
- Experience with scholarly literature databases or academic content platforms
- Knowledge of bibliometrics, metadata standards, or taxonomy development
- Understanding of classification systems, ontologies, and keyword tagging
