Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Sampling and analysis of water for chemical and microbiological testing.
- Recording and maintaining all relevant laboratory data.
- Performing microbiological environmental monitoring and compressed air monitoring in clean areas.
- Conducting microbiological limit tests and method suitability testing for raw materials, finished products and in-process samples.
- Media preparation and quality testing of microbiological media.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygienic conditions in the microbiology laboratory.
- Performing method verification of microbiological limit tests.
- Conducting disinfectant efficacy testing.
- Performing preservative efficacy testing.
- Isolation and identification of microorganisms.
- Supporting quality investigations through corrective and preventive actions.
- Identifying ongoing quality issues and recommending preventive measures.
- Maintaining documentation according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- B.Sc in Microbiology
- M.Sc in Microbiology
