Job Description
The selected candidate will work on a diverse range of activities related to the processing and assembly of pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products. The role is part of a structured trainee program and involves learning manufacturing equipment operations, raw material handling, product integrity practices, documentation, and compliance requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to operate and monitor general manufacturing equipment including autoclaves, ovens, stills, and filtration apparatus under supervision in compliance with GMP standards.
- Handle raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods under guidance to develop skills in maintaining product quality and preventing contamination.
- Assist in mixing and compounding ingredients for liquid products, suspensions, ointments, tablet granulations, and capsule powders as per approved formulations.
- Observe and participate in general maintenance activities on pumps, homogenizers, filter presses, and tablet compression machines to build equipment knowledge.
- Execute Standard Operating Procedures and develop skills in maintaining accurate batch documentation records in compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements including FDA and EMA guidelines.
- Participate in functional team projects focused on developing awareness of process improvement methods to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and scheduling.
- Support area cleaning and sanitization activities to maintain a compliant and safe manufacturing environment.
- Develop foundational knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
