Job Description: Quality Assurance Officer/Senior Officer
This crucial role within our Quality Assurance Department is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our documentation systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to upholding our commitment to delivering consistently high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management: This is a core function of this role. You will be responsible for the issuance, archival, and retrieval of critical documents including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), logbooks, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and other essential quality-related documentation. Accuracy and meticulous record-keeping are paramount.
- SOP Development and Revision: You will participate in the preparation, review, and revision of SOPs to ensure they are current, accurate, and compliant with all relevant regulations and guidelines. This involves collaborating with other departments to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Sample Management: Efficient management of control samples and stability samples is crucial. Your responsibilities will include tracking, storage, and handling of these samples according to established procedures and regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining accurate records and ensuring sample integrity.
- Compliance and Auditing: You will actively participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations. Proactive identification of areas for improvement will be key to your success.
- Continuous Improvement: You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality systems and processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This involves identifying opportunities for streamlining workflows and enhancing documentation procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) is required.
- Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry’s quality assurance department is essential.
- Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a strong understanding of GMP regulations are crucial.
- Other Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues across different departments. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines is essential.
