Responsibilities in the Job
As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Execution of Planned Experiments/Studies: You will be responsible for executing experiments/studies using various physico-chemical methods in a laboratory setting.
- Data Generation: You will handle sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis/processing using HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, HRMS, and CE-based experiments, preferably using Thermo, Waters, or Sciex platforms.
- Interpretations: Your role will require scientific interpretation of processed data, both manually and using software-driven techniques.
- Reporting: You will be responsible for preparing and reporting scientific data into suitable and approved formats.
- Data Integrity: Adherence to data integrity principles (ALOCA++) and maintaining quality compliance is crucial.
- Documentation: You will prepare and maintain documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instrument/equipment qualification/validation documents, as applicable.
- Instrumentation: You will coordinate with vendors/OEMs to ensure the operational status of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ad-hoc Studies: You will execute ad-hoc studies/experiments based on the company’s priorities and needs.
- Knowledge: Continuously enhance your skills through literature surveys, webinars, conferences, and symposiums focused on advancements in physico-chemical and/or structural characterization.
- Conferences: You will actively participate in scientific meetings and interactions, presenting scientific data in the form of posters, oral presentations, and publications.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A B. Pharma, M. Pharma, or PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience: A strong background in executing experiments using advanced techniques like HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, HRMS, and CE.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Thermo, Waters, or Sciex platforms is preferred.
- Scientific Knowledge: Strong understanding of physico-chemical methods, data integrity, and quality compliance.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present scientific data effectively.
