About the Role
As a member of the Engineering & Utilities team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining critical pharmaceutical water systems while ensuring compliance with GMP requirements. The role requires strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and documentation practices to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Operating pretreatment systems including softener operation and regeneration.
- Performing CIP (Cleaning in Place) of UF and RO membranes.
- Operating Purified Water (PW) and Water for Injection (WFI) systems.
- Carrying out sanitization of PW and WFI storage tanks and distribution loops.
- Operating Pure Steam Generator systems.
- Troubleshooting water utility equipment and carrying out preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintaining GMP documentation, equipment logbooks, and operational records.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess any of the following qualifications:
- ITI
- Diploma
- B.Tech
- B.Sc.
Required Skills
Candidates should have:
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical water utility systems.
- Good understanding of GMP documentation practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of PW, WFI, RO, UF, pretreatment systems, and pure steam generation.
Experience
