Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS) is seeking a motivated Trainee – R&D (Analytical Chemistry) to join their team in Chennai. This role is ideal for an MSc Chemistry graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine analytical testing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide analytical support to the synthetic lab under senior guidance.
- Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, etc.).
- Ensure calibration of lab equipment as per standard protocols.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Safety Practices (GSP).
- Communicate effectively with the Senior Scientist/Manager regarding lab activities.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high-quality laboratory operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- MSc in Chemistry (Specialization in Analytical/General Chemistry preferred).
- Strong communication skills for clear technical reporting.
- Prior experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis) is a plus.
- Knowledge of GLP/GMP guidelines is advantageous.
