Role Summary

Veeva is seeking Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance experts to join the Professional Services team as a Consultant – Vault Safety. This role involves supporting the implementation of Veeva’s Vault Safety solution and requires innovative thinkers with extensive domain expertise who are eager to leverage new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configuration and Implementation: Assist life sciences customers with the rapid configuration and implementation of Vault Safety.
  • Workshops and Discussions: Lead customer discussions and execute workshops focused on the Vault Development Cloud.
  • Gap Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Conduct gap analyses, prepare for workshops, gather requirements, configure, validate, and train customers.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expertise in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance to both customers and project teams.
  • Engagement Management: Represent Safety Professional Services across multiple engagements and ensure customer success throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Data Migration: Offer expertise in migrating existing data into Vault Safety using Argus/Aris data models.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the life sciences industry, primarily within Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, ideally in a consulting capacity.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance processes and regulations.
  • System Implementation: Experience with safety systems such as Aris, Argus, Emperica, Commonwealth, RxLogix, or any proprietary safety system.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and ensure high levels of satisfaction in project delivery.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Independent Contributor: Must have prior experience in an individual contributor role.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly understand business requirements and design corresponding solutions, demonstrating a hands-on approach.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Exposure to life sciences compliance and computer systems validation requirements.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the project time.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High-Impact Programs: Track record of supporting global system implementation programs as a consultant or business/IT lead.
  • Direct Application Experience: Direct experience with Argus or other drug safety applications.
  • Educational Background: Degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related field.
  • SaaS/Cloud Experience: Familiarity with service delivery management and/or systems implementation.
  • Locality: Proximity to major life sciences customer hubs (Bangalore or Hyderabad) is advantageous.
