Key Responsibilities
The Medical Information Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day project activities according to client requirements.
- Supporting project management and mentoring junior team members.
- Handling complex medical information inquiries received through phone calls and emails.
- Conducting literature searches and preparing scientifically accurate medical responses.
- Identifying and documenting adverse events, product quality complaints, pregnancy cases, and special situations.
- Ensuring timely pharmacovigilance reporting according to regulatory requirements.
- Participating in 24/7 medical information support services when required.
- Providing project metrics and status updates to management.
- Supporting inspection readiness and participating in audits and regulatory inspections.
- Performing quality checks for medical information deliverables.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the Medical Information department.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess any of the following healthcare or life science qualifications:
- B.Pharm
- M.Pharm
- Pharm.D
- B.Sc Life Sciences
- M.Sc Life Sciences
- Nursing Degree
- Pharmacist Qualification
- Other Healthcare Professional Degrees
Experience Required
- Relevant experience in Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, or related healthcare fields.
- Experience in handling medical information inquiries is preferred.
- Prior project management experience in a call center or healthcare support environment is advantageous.
- Experience in mentoring or line management will be an added advantage.

Salary Expectation
Based on industry standards for Medical Information Officer roles in India, the expected salary range is:
