Job Description
As a Process Modeling Intern, you will work with Pfizer’s Drug-Product Process-Modeling Team (PMET) to develop computational tools for drug-dosage forms (tablets, capsules, ointments, etc.). Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying engineering/physical concepts (mass balance, energy balance, transport phenomena).
- Setting up and solving mathematical models (linear/non-linear equations, differential equations).
- Programming & numerical simulations (Python, MATLAB, C/C++, R).
- Familiarity with Discrete Element Method (DEM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
- Collaborating with Pfizer scientists to improve drug formulation processes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program (Chemical/Mechanical/Pharmaceutical/Material Science or related).
- Strong mathematical & coding skills.
- Excellent communication & teamwork abilities.
2. Support Services Intern (Final-Year Dual Degree Students)

- Conduct DEM & FEM simulations and provide insights.
- Create CAD geometries for simulations.

- Assist in event planning, technical writing, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with documentation & digital platform management.
Qualifications
- Final-year dual-degree student from a premier institute.
- Coding experience (MATLAB, Python).
- Strong analytical & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks & work under supervision.
Preferred Skills
