Responsibilities in the Job

As a Project Specialist at Parexel, your role will encompass diverse tasks aimed at ensuring seamless project execution. Key responsibilities include:

1. Project Initiation Management

• Setting up tools and systems following SOPs and work instructions.
• Coordinating project-specific training through the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Assisting the Project Lead (PL) in creating schedules and resource plans.
• Drafting and maintaining a consistent project management plan.

2. Project Execution and Control Management

• Analyzing reports and identifying project-related issues.
• Maintaining schedules, resources, and tracking changes.
• Preparing management and dashboard reports.
• Managing project document storage and updating project plans as required.

3. Project Meetings

• Supporting preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and minutes.
• Tracking and following up on action items.
• Promoting effective communication among team members.

4. Project Financial Management

• Collating and reviewing monthly financial metrics.
• Processing invoices and interacting with Independent Consultants for timesheets.

5. Project Closure Management

• Ensuring document archiving and final deliverables to sponsors.
• Closing all project systems post-completion.

Qualifications

To excel as a Project Specialist at Parexel, the following qualifications are desirable:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
• PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
